The PhDJ - Music DJ Services

WEDDINGS are very special occasions  for all - the bride and groom, their families and their guests.  It is a day to celebrate and to remember.  It is my responsibility to provide the music, help set the atmosphere and to emcee the event so that all who attend will enjoy their experience.  One of the keys to success is to plan for it.  As part of my planning and preparation, I feel it is important to meet face-to-face with the prospective bride and groom several weeks before the "big day".  I want to assure we are all on the same page about the event - no detail is too small.  We discuss every aspect, the venue, what happens before the wedding party arrives, when they arrive, the first dance, the last dance, the type of music you want to hear, what you don't want to hear, and all the memories in between.  It is very important to me that I deliver what you want, not what I think you will or should want.   It's a personal touch that helps remove worry on your part.

MUSIC is important to all events and having a wide selection is critical, given that most events, especially weddings, have a broad age range of attendees.  I have an extensive music data base, with over 20,000 songs, each of which I bring with me.  My music covers popular music, from Big Band to today (the 40's to Y2K and country.  I continually update my collection as new music comes out, so, no matter when your event, I will have the latest.  In those situations that I don't have music you want - I pledge to do my best to obtain it before your event.  Just another reason for that face-to-face meeting.

SPECIAL EVENTS:  There are many events, besides weddings, that are enhanced by having a Master of Ceremonies/DJ to coordinate the party.  A few examples:

  • Birthday Parties
  • Holiday Parties
  • Anniversaries
  • Family Reunions
  • Corporate Parties/Special Events
  • School Events/Dances
  • Sorority/Fraternity Parties
  • Bar and Bat Mitzvahs

The key to success is to plan for it.  As with weddings, I prefer to meet with representatives or clients to plan their special event.  I make it my responsibility to take worry about of the equation so your special event has the right music and right atmosphere, not only to meet, but to exceed your expectations.
